The Design

Since its opening in 1990 the interior design of the Hotel im Wasserturm has been by the French Andrée Putman, who until then decorated boutiques of renowned couturiers and in 1984 engaged in her first hotel project, the Morgans in New York. Here she focused on black and white components.

From Superior single rooms to deluxe suites with 85 square meters of living space over two floors, bright cream color contrast with dark, rich woods and fabrics. Inspired by the geometry of the water tower circular cylinders are the distinctive elements of her design language.
